The place to be for some fuss-free fresh maguro fix, Kuro Maguro’s Sansyoku Meshi Set ($34.80) was quite the treat. Yes, the price is pretty steep but the quality of the succulent cuts was well worth it. If I am not wrong there were Otoro, Chutoro and Akami which all tasted great. And, not surprisingly, otoro was my favourite due to its melt-in-the-mouth texture. The thickness was fantastic too. The lunch set also came with chawanmushi, sliced fruits and miso soup.
Was disappointed when I saw the portion, considering how much the dish was. But the hamachi was so firm yet soft, fresh and delicious! Highly recommended.
Legit tastes like fried karaage??? But softer, and more delicious 👌 highly recommended!
The otoro legit looked like wagyu with the marbling (as seen), the sliced sashimi was firm and soft at the same time - tasted super fresh.
It was melt in your mouth kind of situation, with a nice contrasting texture from the avocado
