Koka Wanton Noodles (North Bridge Road Market & Food Centre)

Revisited this Wanton Mee stall again (after 8 years!); they only open late at night (10.30pm - 3am) and the waiting time is always really long! Love the QQ texture of the noodles, and the fragrant sauce - it has that old school taste! The wanton mee also comes with char siew, mushrooms, shredded chicken and soup with wantons inside. It is a good plate of wanton mee and I understand why they have their fans, but I personally find that it is not worth the long waiting time. TBH, I can find other wanton mee of similar standards with shorter waiting times elsewhere.

Been eating this wonton mee since I was a kid. The fragrance of the lard and the sauce, the QQ-ness of the noodles..now only if the portions were bigger (just go for $5) and the opening hours were more normal 😅

No queue at 10+ but it was a really really long wait. Bought $4. I thought the noodle was not bad, liked the texture and taste but everyone said it was average and were disappointed at how small the portion was. Wanton wasn't good though couldn't really taste the filling.

Another good wanton noodle stall found, but you gotta be very patient as the waiting time can be crazy long. They are only open at night, good for late dinner or supper!

Doesn't open till 9pm and tuck away in an unlikely hawker centre along Crawford. Expect to wait for an hour or more. Wanton noodle taste as it is named after, 油菜 with 豬油渣.....OMG! One of my favorites. Yumminess: 4/5
