This was a cute drink! Not to mention a refreshing one too. Great to sip on while I savour my rice bowl. There was a thin layer of foam, unsure where it came from but it adds to the consistency of the drink (kinda felt like beer), which was enjoyable.
Fried chicken in a tempura style batter, topped off with Ikura mayo-ish sauce. The meat itself was tender and flavourful, but the batter was a little too thick.
Your usual bowl of gyudon. Sweet sliced beef, onions and onsen egg lying on a bed of warm rice. Poke the egg open and let the yolk coat every single grain of rice in the bowl.
Just wished the the beef slices were a tad bit more tender!
Yes, this Japanese cafe/restaurant is located inside the compounds of a car service/showroom. And yes, the food is good! Wide area for seating and perfect to bring children as they have a little play pen as well.
But on to the food - we had the Chicken Nanban Don, Luna Una Don (unagi bowl) and Yatta Maki (sushi roll). They were all quite tasty and came in large portions. There is also an option during lunch to mix and match mini bowls so you get to try different things, but they change the mini bowl options every month.
They’re also popular for their dessert and coffee offerings such as their in house made burnt cheesecakes and cold brew coffees.
Definitely a place to visit with your family and kids because of it kids friendly environment.
