Kimly Coffeeshop (Sumang Walk)

Pleasantly surprised with the 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝗼 ($8.90) from Tenderbest. With so many outlets across the island, I wasn’t sure if the brand could maintain its consistency.

The crispy skin and succulent flesh of the chicken were irresistible, while the al dente spaghetti provided the requisite carbs with a mildly spicy kick.

Even though Tenderbest is known for its fried chicken, the roast chicken was equally excellent.

Chef recommendation! This set is perfect for 2 to share and you can choose any 4 from 5 meats, Duck, Chicken, Char Siew, Pork Ribs and Sausage. ⠀

The set comes with 4 meat of your choice, white/chicken rice, 1 sunshine egg, vegetables and a bowl of white carrot soup which goes so well with the rice! The portion is very generous therefore is good for 2 pax sharing. Love their roasted meats as they are so deliciously roasted and you can ask them to remove the bones if you prefer. We opt for their chicken rice as it’s very fragrant and not too oily, for chilli lovers you would enjoy together with their chilli sauce, it’s so comforting and satisfying! ⠀

You will be spoilt for choices with a huge wide varieties of dishes to choose from! We like to drop by ard 11.45am, just before lunch crowd and this is the time all the dishes are freshly cooked and served pipping hot! Today we had fried tofu with minced meat, sliced cucumber and diced potato & hotdog in ketchup!! Yummmmy! .

Black Pepper Chicken with Fries and 1 side of your choice - onion rings, $7. Fairly huge portion of chicken chop grilled to flavour, accompanied with black pepper sauce! The golden fried shoe-string fries and crispy battered onion rings goes so well together too! Super yummy!! 😋 .

Dry Noodle, $3.50. Dry Mee Pok tossed in their ketchup sauce, oil and vinegar with bits of Pork Lard🤭🤭 Noodle texture is just nice, not too soggy and hard👍🏼. Comes with a separate bowl of tasty soup and lots of ingredients like minced meat, lean meat, fishball, veg and crispy dried beancurd! Pretty satisfying and comforting, portion is quite filling too! .
