Kay Lee's roast duck was really tender. The char siew was sweeter than average though. Especially after putting the sauce that comes with it. Very guilty of taking too much sauce 😅Highly recommended for meat lovers, and oh yes the salted veg duck soup was awesome too 🤤

Try the Kay Lee new outlet at Bukit Merah . Yummy and will visit again to try the duck rice

Cooling. Good for lungs & liver
. Just the right double boiled soup for both of us with sore throats 😋
Canton style Dumpling Noodle ($8.80)
. Looks simple yet springy & tasty. Dumplings were meaty too
😋
2 combination Roast Meat Platter ($20 small)
. Signature honey glazed succulent dark caramelised char siew
. Crispy crackling roast pork with smokey flavour, fatty but juicy
😜
Glad that my lunch kaki love this place & the food as this was her 1st visit. My treat to bless her with abundance luck as she embarks on a new journey 😗

It consist of the signature black charsiew, roasted duck and roasted pork. I would say the signature charsiew was impressive as the sauce indeed enhanced the meat flavour. The roasted duck was just normal which I find it abit dry. The roasted pork skin was crispy and the pork was pretty good. Overall it worth the price and the outlet I went was block 116 Bukit Batok view.

I had rather high hopes for this because I heard that the business was sold for a few million dollars? It should be pretty good if it is worth that much. The char siew was indeed really charred with an extremely blackened and sticky layer. Personally I prefer a less sweet and more bbq-tasting char siew so this wasn't quite to my liking. However, it wasn't too fatty and I liked that. The roast pork was a tad too salty and the skin was too hard. Although these 2 meats weren't fantastic, I did however enjoy their shrimp wanton noodles. We also noticed that many items (about 30%?) in the menu had the 'unavailable' label stuck over it which was really disappointing.

A bit of everything - duck, char siew and roast pork

The char siew were all burnt, duck too dry and hard to chew. The roast pork nothing special, average. Too overrated - nothing special or unique, yet so expensive
