Nothing spectacular about the waffle but at least it still tastes moderately good. The ice cream tasted alright, pepero sticks are well, pepero sticks. So yes, this helped with satiating my sweet tooth but not memorable enough for me to want a second serving.
Chasing away midweek blue by treating myself with good food. Drove down to Toa Payoh to try out this new cafe called JQ Chef Cafe. This place previously was previously occupied by Les Patisseries which has moved to a bigger place in Thomson Road.
Order a cafe latte and a mushroom aligo olio. I must say that the aligo oilo taste very flavourful and nice. But the latte tastes more milky.

Sadly, they have tweaked the recipe of their waffles here. It's more bread than waffle now, absolutely no crisp on the outside, dense and fluffy on the inside. Still, it's rather fragrant. I don't see myself coming back here anymore when I have a craving for waffles.
Ordered truffles fries to go with sharing mixed grill .. Just nice for 2 . The teens kiddo loves it . The chef offered us a thai beehoon salad complimentary to try .
