Had the red grouper fish soup and yong tau foo. All ingredients were prepped amazingly well, fish was super fresh and soft with zero fishy taste, although the ingredients for the ytf could have been tastier. Really delicious broth and homely taste!

I ordered the Red Grouper Fish Soup (Big) ($14.50) that comes with minced pork. The soup was really flavourful and has a rich seafood taste. The ingredients were fresh and generous too. Overall it’s a very hearty bowl of soup, and perfect for rainy cold weather 👍🏻😄

dory fish soup - warm, comforting soup with fresh quality and generous portions of fish slices and minced pork used

ginger braised duck - not a common dish that can be found in many establishments and just feels super homely, love the savoury, rich braised soya sauce and suited for even people. who dont like ginger as it isnt very overpowering. tender duck though some pieces are more boney than meaty

rec the place for good quality and generous portion sizes and friendly staffs though the price point is on higher end

Was CRAY-ving for a soul-soothing bowl of Seafood Soup and popped by Jia Li Seafood Soup 佳麗海鮮湯 @jialiseafoodsoup at its Holland Village outlet! They do not scrimp on ingredients here - this stacked bowl with meatballs, crayfish, prawns & fish slices says it all. While lighter compared to Yan Ji's, the broth here is still relatively umami-packed with dried scallop sweetness and pork bones while being way more generous in portion. I seldom eat crayfish at most places because I tend to get mostly shell with little meat 90% of the time, but the crayfish I got came with chunky, sweet flesh. The prawns here are also really succulent and huge, and the handmade minced meatballs were decent. Went for dory this time but if you want something with a firmer meat texture, go for red grouper instead!

I recently visited their outlet and tried their batang fish soup and their signature seafood soup. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the delicate sweetness of the dory and batang fish blending seamlessly with the rich flavours of the clayfish.

Would highly recommend their Seafood Soup and it is a must-try for seafood enthusiasts and food lovers alike. I will definitely be returning for more!
