Wish there’s more of the ginger soup.

Milky Snowy Ice 牛奶绵绵冰 (S$7.60)
Smooth shaved ice with milky taste. Served with black glutinous rice, mini matcha rice balls, grass jelly cube, and mango cube.

Golden Sweet Potato 炸番薯 (S$5.60/ 5 pieces)
It was very hard to fork it. There’s barely any sweet potato taste in it.

We decided to try something at Ji De Chi other than their ice shavings and we got the glutinous rice roll with mango. The exterior is the same as that used to make tangyuan and it is slightly chewy. The inside of the roll contains mango slices as well as black glutinous rice filling! Sadly, the mango slices weren't sweet and they tasted rather flat in fact.

More surprisingly, we were shocked to find that the single roll cost us $6.60, coming quite close to the price of the signature ice shavings at Ji De Chi. The roll wasn't great and in future, we will go for their (durian) ice shavings instead. 😅

Served cold. Can’t really taste the water chestnuts

Served pipping hot but can’t really taste the milk.

Mango/ Yam Sticky Rice 芒果芋香糯米飯 (S$6.90)
The mango was not sweet. More on the sour side. The yam paste was too smooth. Lack of texture and flavour.
