The miso in the tonkotsu broth was sweeter this time, more black garlic oil would be perfect 🍜

Decent ramen

Yuzu Tori Shio (Chicken broth)
- Lighter broth (so the yuzu taste was more apparent in this)
- chicken slices didnt have much flavour

Yuzu Tonkotsu (Pork broth)
- Heavier broth (as you might expect from a pork broth)

I had a sudden craving for ramen and decided to go to the one nearest (and shortest Q) from my crib - Ippudo. Unable to recall the last time i had Ippudo, but now i vaguely remembered why I seldom head back - price. Expensive and soso ramen, your money is better well spent elsewhere

This version comes with an extra slice of pork belly & pork loin. Soup is the original Tonkatsu broth with miso paste & garlic oil added, which made it thicker & richer.

This was so good! I could drink bowls of the tasty, comforting chicken broth. It’s light enough that it’s not cloying, unlike other chicken ramen broths I’ve tried. The sprinkle of yuzu shavings really add another dimension to the flavours. Absolutely delicious, plus the menu says it’s a Singapore exclusive.
