Hubba Hubba (Ceylon)

Found the relatively new Hubba Hubba in Bukit Ceylon’s Invito Hotel Suites. In the afternoon, the bar is dim and quiet so really, a good place to relax if you’re skiving work. Plus, it’s unlikely you will run into anyone here — most patrons are tourists staying in the suites above. Choices for drinks are standard, but it’s the food menu that surprises. The Tom Yam Soft Shell Crab (RM18) is a delish appetiser, if you can even call it that. The dish is hefty enough to be a main, if you’re dining alone. Crisp batter envelopes the large soft shell crab and it’s lavishly doused in a tom yum glaze, with pickled cucumber papaya to refresh on the side. Will absolutely recommend this for a bar snack too.
