House of Li Xiang (Mayflower Market & Food Centre)

If you used to stay around this neighbourhood long enough, you should familiar with a stall called that the Montfort Mee Siam which has closed down long ago.

But the legacy recipe of Montfort Mee Siam has continued by this new owner at House of Li Xiang, which they both know each other well back then.

So you would expect decent mee siam from this stall. Strong and delicious taste until I finish everything including the gravy.

Mee rebus - I loved that there was a good amount of thinly sliced tau kwa, and not too much bean sprouts. Remember to sweeten the boiled egg with a drizzle of sweet dark sauce.
