House of AnLi Bistro (Tanglin Mall)

House Of AnLi at Level 3 of Tanglin Mall is probably the most gorgeous bistro to open in Singapore of late. The bistro is an extension of the House of AnLi furniture store, and therefore the entire European design and homely setting carries on over. If you sit by the window, you would be treated with a view of greenery overlooking Tanglin Road. The person behind House of AnLi is Belgian designer Anne-Jean Liétaer (thus the name AnLi), who serves up home style European-Belgian food based on her family’s original recipes.

Switching up for a vegan option after all the festive feasting. A light and hearty wrap packed with mushrooms, avocados, cucumbers and lettuce assembled in a tortilla wrap. Option to add fries ($8) with a choice of shoestring fries or chunky belgium fries.

Looking for a light brunch option? Opt for this DIY option where you get two eggs (of choice) served on toasted sourdough bread with mesclun salad. A satisfying combination with added sauteed mixed mushrooms ($6) that were done flavourfully tender and juicy.

For those who love their eggs on sourdough toast. Husband rated this as his favourite eggs ben and it didn’t hurt that they were very generous with their salmon too!

I came back for their mussels and they were still as fresh and sweet 😋

Delish!! And I love the cup it was served in, so classy.

Truly the best scrambled eggs ever, it’s got to be these organic NZ eggs 🥰 The shiso cress is amazing too and the salad inspires me to grow my own. Used to cost $8 in December 2016, but now we’re in October 2020 and this costs $12. At least it’s still delicious and the quality is there! ♥️

Why do the scrambled eggs I cook never look this good? 😋 So delicious, these are definitely the scrambled eggs I ever had (I say this every time). This cafe has been around since December 2016. So I remember when this used to cost $8 in the beginning, and over the last few years, the price has been going up. Right now (October 2020) it’s $12. Thankfully, it still tastes good; and the eggs are still organic and from New Zealand! It really makes all the difference. The eggs are so tasty, fluffy and golden. The shiso cress is delicious, and the salad really inspires me to grow my own.
