I finally understood why holiday inn has to price their high tea set at such an affordable price ($45++ for 2). Their ambience is a major setback, with no high ceilings, not much natural sunlight setting, you feel less atas and chill at a typical hotel setting.
Service was great, in fact one of the better ones I've experienced. Very timely with clearing of plates, not short-handed at all. Food wise it's actually quite nice, similar to their parent IHG standard, and drinks are free flow!
Nonetheless, even with a less comfortable setting, it still wins Marriott with all their service and good standards.
Pretty good high tea set. A good balance of savoury and sweet items. Also comes with tea or coffee and scones (not pictured). Scones are awesome. Each set serves 2 and costs $38.
My way of supporting this cause which i truly feel for and to also hear from practitioners and experts on trauma and mental health which I'm really interested to know about.
If you are a seafood lover like us, you will be excited to hear about their new offering – Seafood Wok. A colourful stir-fry of different crustaceans including lobsters, crab, prawns, crayfish, mussels and clams; Window on the Park presents the Seafood Wok in three different flavours – Sambal Tomato, Black Pepper and Cream Sauce.
.
A twist to the local’s favourite – black pepper crab, the Black Pepper Seafood Wok is dangerously addictive. Slathered in a robust black pepper sauce, Chef Ivan Lim’s translation of the famous dish came with a hint of sweetness. Out of the three, this is no doubt the favourite.
.
S$96++ for two adults, S$24 nett per child (6 to 12 years old).
