I ordered for 2 pax, mixed ingredients.
It's deep fried, crispy but not oily, don't have the smell using repeating oil, pour it with bean paste sauce (not sweet, which I like 🀩).
πŸ’°$14, with one yam rice.

Mixed Yong Tau Foo for 3pax
The staff selected 3 stuffed bittergourd, 3 stuffed eggplant, 3 fishballs, 1 stuffed chilli, 2 stuffed okra, 3 stuffed deep fried bean curd, 2 stuffed bean curd, 2 bean curd puff with kang kong, accompanied with 3 deep fried dumplings and 3 deep fried bean curd stick.
Braised Duck (S$8)
2 yam rice

Total S$22

Both outlets no customers but ended at this one because got braised duck too. Someone who brought me here told me that this outlet was less salty than the other. Wish for thicker stuffing.

A bustling store tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood! You have the option to choose your ingredients, but we got the set ($6 per person). It comes with a bowl of rice and lots of green vegetables! I particularly liked the fried beancurd skin and wanton.

The dishes greeted us with a smell that had a tinge of salted fish 🐟 i do suspect that its their "secret ingredients".
The Ampang style YTF is "dry". The bean paste sauce rained over the pieces of YTF. A non-lover of sweet sauce definitely prefers this salty rendition 😊
Almost every single piece of YTF was deep fried - crispy BUT not oily. The selections were definitely not the widest and mayb not an option if you are feeling for healthy food. The seasoning of the YTF pieces complimented the bean paste sauce but not the most yummy i've had
πŸ’Έ $11, feeds 2
Verdict: πŸ™‚, its not bad but not enough to make me crave for it & make a conscious effort to remember it
(The angmoh who speaks good mandarin probably had a stronger impression on me πŸ˜…)
