Hachi Tei Japanese Cuisine (Golden Mile Tower)

My favourite item was the cubed tobiko—super crunchy as all the fish roe was compressed together. Part of our customised meal… basically the chef was given a budget and fed us many delicious dishes. A great end to an afternoon of photo-taking around Chinatown.

My colleagues loved this for its variety and it was fresh. I can't say the same love for the oyako don I ordered though. Another colleague was also unsatisfied with her unagi oyako. Probably can find a better one at food courts for half the price. Perhaps skip the oyako dons and go straight for the chirashi..?

I wasn't the only one as all my colleagues were in agreement that the food here were well below expectation.
to me, I feel sad having to finish this bowl of chirashi and then causing my stomach to feel so unsatisfied. although the sashimi were fresh, the portions were bit size pathetic and guess what, the rice used were the normal chinese food grains.

I rarely condemn places but this one has been stuck fully off my list. don't say I never warn

Although the waiting time is slightly longer than usual, the large variety of fresh and gleaming seafood is already worth its price.
