Ghee Huat Fried Oyster (Boon Lay Place Food Village)

I do ❤️ eating orh luak [a.k.a. fried oyster 🦪 omelette], one of our local hawker favourites for its gooey egg texture with briny flavour from the oysters.

However, it’s hard to find a good plate of oyster omelette in the western part of 🇸🇬.

Tried the orh luak [a popular stall with the residents staying in this area and the one & only stall selling this dish] at Boon Lay food centre with no expectations and left feeling satisfied.

Their humble oyster omelette with tad mushy oysters lean towards the starchy, eggy side and exude a nice fragrance upon munching into it. 😁

Sticky and crispy, definitely worth to order if you are eating here. $5

I craved for a good fried kway teow last week so I had one. But the sauce for this one was too much and the noodles were rather overcooked, so I couldn't enjoy it as much, except for the fresh cockles. Shall hunt for better fried kway teow place :>
