But the ingredients were generous. Unfortunately their soya beancurd was lacklustre though. Overall still not bad, just don't get the tau huay on its own
It's warm - I don't drink warm. It has pearls - I don't like pearls. And somehow I liked this! For some reason the soya bean drink here suits a warm temperature. The flavour really is extracted. And they have the greatest pearls I've had in years. Soft and not needing to chew overly long.
Tried the Soya Bean with Gula Melaka (Malacca) drink at $1.30. Can understand why they label the coconut sugar from Malacca as it is a very thick syrup. Once mixed thoroughly with soya bean milk the drink colour changes from white to light brown milk tea colour. The sweet taste of gula melaka comes through, giving it the oomph.
Fu Hua Soya Bean serves up an interesting range of drinks that I’ve never seen elsewhere, from (left to right) Peppermint w/ Pearl Soya Drink ($1.60), Soya Milk w/ Gula Melaka Syrup ($1.30), Fresh Pearl Bandung Soya Milk ($1.60), to even Peppermint Grass Jelly, Soya Milk w/ Almond Syrup and more. The peppermint and gula melaka soya milk drinks sounded attractive but unfortunately, felt like two separated elements when put together. Go for the bandung soya milk instead!
I got the cold one.... Pretty shiok to enjoy back at the office after lunch. Sibei hot weather 😓
