The ingredients are reasonably priced at 80¢ per piece.

I recommend the handmade meatball, the plump dumpling and the tau kee that is bigger than my face.

With a minimum of six pieces and your choice of carb, a bowl comes up $5.60 which you can have either dry or in clear soup.

Apart from the usual sweet sauce and sambal chili, the stall also provide sambal belacan.

face ban mian has always been my go-to ban mian place in the neighbourhood, with a number of outlets spread around Jurong area.
my usual order of dry pork belly you mian has always satisfied me. the delicious minced meat and pork belly, coupled with the crunch from ikan bilis and vegetables, and the chewy noodles, this is easily my idea of a perfect meal. not forgetting the soup (with egg) which finishes this meal off on a perfect note.

Stumbled upon this by chance. The stall is located inside a food court in a HDB block.

There were 20 people in the queue before me on a Saturday afternoon but it was fast moving. You get a queue number after payment and the wait was slightly less than 1min per person.

I liked how they serve an ear of corn in every bowl of soup, even if you order 1 portion.

I'm a frequent visitor at this stall if need a noodle fix. They got me coming back for the soft boil (and entire😱) egg in their soup side! The broth and zhup is flavourful - kinda more towards the salty side.. so I opt to couple my meal with a drink, usually.

First look and I almost thought Bishan's Ding Ji Bar Chor Mee has moved here. A quick Google search showed this chain is by FeiSiong and it has quite a number of stalls in SG. What caught my eye though, was (obviously) the lava egg!!! Other toppings apart from the usuals were the breaded scallop and meat roll (?). The egg, mushrooms and noodles were good, I liked the strong vinegar kick but would have preferred lesser sauce for the noodles to retain some qq-ness! The default sauce is also more on the sweet end from the ketchup used. Their normal bar chor mee is at $3.50 and I would think a dollar top up is still quite worth it for this decent bowl.

$4.30. This would be something good for someone who likes more vegetable in their ban mian and do not like the pork in this dish. Definitely something healthier but more expensive compared to the normal ban mian. Face Ban Mian gives lots of mushroom and vegetables, what I liked was that there was a variety of mushrooms and vegetables given. The soup broth was fragrant and the egg was cooked well, even though the yolk was not runny when I ate it. The ban mian was amazing and fantastic, with the noodles not being stuck together. Would surely come back for this in future if I eat at this place again.

i wont be able to post photo consistently so i hope you guys wont mind, finals coming on the next month and hope everything's gonna be alright. from left clockwise down, Chive Dumplings, Siew Mai, Spring Roll, Seafood Dumpling and Beancurd Skin w Minced Meat, $5.20 in all nom! #chinesefood #chinese #dumplings #springroll #siewmai

Accompanied by a crispy pile of deep fried anchovies and tender pork belly slices, it's a hole in one. An interesting addition to the meal would be the bowlful of delicious pork broth on the side with a raw egg thrown in. EGG DROP SOUP alert!!! A terrific juxtaposition the run-of-the-mill MSG laden soups that usually accompany the noodles。
