Why settle for ham when you can have tender, lip-smacking pulled pork on your Eggs Ben? Perfectly poached eggs, checked. Tasty, piquant hollandaise, checked. Fluffy brioche toast to mop up that delicious mess, checked. There's nothing cheeky about it, and every bit delicious!
Boy, am I glad we went ahead with ordering this despite the initial apprehension. We'd requested to have it warmed up for fear that it'd suffer the same fate as lesser versions out there - dry and not very palatable. Thankfully, this was the complete antithesis of all those. Studded with spiced apple chunks and glazed with toffee, this delightful treat was moist, comforting, and gone in no time.
This is genmaicha latte, a matcha latte infused with roasted brown rice. No doubt, this is going to taste differently from matcha lattes as there's a strong roasted aroma and flavour in it. Sometimes it's good to try something different 》$6.50
This portion to cajun fries is worth it's price. Quite a big portion of thick cut fries with sprinkles of paprika powder 》$7
Braised Pork Cheek, Grated Parmesan, Basil 》$14
After seeing quite a number of reviews for their pork cheek, we decided to get a portion of pork cheek rigatoni to share. I fell in love with the taste of their pork cheek but we sort of agree that this has a similar taste to the canned braised/stewed pork from the supermarket. The only sad thing is that the pasta was a little undercooked.
Brioche, Caramelised Banana, Bacon with Maple Syrup 》$14
Thick and fluffy brioche soaked in egg mixture then pan fried to golden brown. It has a crispy crust on the outside and pillow soft on the inside. I loved the caramelised bacon and bananas. My hearty weekend sweet and savory brunch 💞
