While it was still enjoyable, I think standards have dropped. The sambal isn't as punchy, the noodles are more healthy now and there's less oil so it's a lot less indulgent

Today the pork ribs were quite abit tougher and drier than I rmbed at their prime

this time. It is more full of spices than umami, still as delicious tho. I will report back if it's the same next time

Sorry for the photo

But just glad to report their standard is back

I hate to say this since the uncle is one of my favourite in this hawker, but standards have dropped today

There's a pool of water at the bottom of the kway teow, the sambal lacks punch so the entire bowl of noodles werent shiok, and pork ribs were abit more dry than it used to be too

Hope they get back their original standard soon, I will be back shortly

Noodles were good on its own due to the chef's potent and aromatic chili sauce and oil. But the highlight is the pork ribs, which were incredibly flavourful, and uber soft. I come back over and over just to order the pork ribs, which are really one of a kind. It's cooked until the cartilage turns into gel and the bones are soft enough to chew on.

Famous seng heng prawn noodles #01-179? Right at the corner of the whole hawker centre
