Traditional Teochew style ngoh hiang selections that are best eaten with savoury-sweet chilli sauce. We ordered fish deli, fish cake, ngoh hiang (meat roll) and bean sprout fritter which came well executed and not overly oily. It goes well dipping it into the sweet chilli sauce 》$7.60
Springy noodles cooked with secret in-house sauce, accompanied with char siew, wonton and vegetables. I like how springy and al-dente the noodles are done. Although it looks plain, it was already flavoured with a sauce similar to Thai wonton noodles. The char siew added some sweetness to the dish with some flavourful boiled wonton and vegetables.
Feel free to help yourself to servings of freshly deep-fried lard and their special fiery chilli sauce packed in bottles but be warned that it is extra spicy so do have a taste of it before pouring and mixing it in the bowl 》$4.50/small

I like it that the handmade egg noodles were springy and have a bite to it! Love mixing in their special fiery chilli sauce to get a savoury bowl of noodles with a slight kick of spiciness to it.
The boiled wantons were flavorful, while the fried wantons and boiled vegetables were pretty normal/average.
For wanton Noodles + zichar options. Can't complain about this spot!
There is a new ENG WONTON NOODLE at novena! Near Kyushu pancake! Came here to try their regular dry wanton mee noodle ($4.50. there is large bowl option available too). I was quite shocked when the meat was served because it was those super charred FATTY cut kind? Haha totally not to my liking! I miss the original green bowl eng wanton noodle back during the tanjong katong days (the meat used at tanjong katong then was the lean meat not charred type). I'm hoping that eng wanton noodle will have the option to choose between fatty and lean meat cut! This time round, I tried the noodles with their red hot chilli and I enjoyed it! Be sure not to put too much as it was sure spicy! And I'm super happy that this place serves water chestnut drink! (Lol I'm addicted to water chestnut drink ever since 👦🏻 introduced them to me months ago). I will be back again to try the claypot rice here! Looks good! (From Lorong 33 geylang!)
