A quick fix to healthy and tasty korean food. My second time here and somehow it taste better than the first time i tried this

Ordered the Soy Citrus Salmon at (originally $12.90, but thank you Burpple for the 1-1).

Since I like to consume a meal that has more proteins, I added on the spicy chicken, tofu and mushroom. Didn't favour their chicken as much as the salmon, t'was a little too soggy for my taste buds 🥺 But the tofu and mushroom was yummy.

Didn't make the wrong choice in getting them to serve me the Apple Cider Gochujjang sauce by the side (they're super generous with the sauce), but I prefer less sauce mixed into my rice so I like that t'was served separately so that I could control the amount of sauce I wanted to add in!

I refrigerated this and had it chilled the next day, and it was refreshingly good! I swapped out the rice for tofu, and got cubes of semi-firm marinated tofu. The tofu, beanspouts and pickled cucumber all tasted like things you’d get as banchan in Korean restaurants. My favourite things in the bowl were the tender seared salmon, the crunchy beansprouts, the nicely seasoned cucumber, and the tofu. I didn’t use the sauce as I tried a little and it was rather salty, and the ingredients tasted good on their own.

Main: soy citrus salmon
Sides: beansprouts, carrot, corn, pickled cucumber, spinach
Base: tofu (+$2)
Sauce: soy garlic jang

Main: seared tuna
Base: cauliflower rice (+$3)
Sides: corn, onion, beansprouts, spinach, cabbage
Sauce: soy garlic jang

Loved this bowl so much! I actually forgot to add the sauce and didn’t realise because the ingredients were already tasty on their own. I liked the cauliflower rice the most, which was warm and nicely seasoned. The tuna was perfectly seared. The vegetables were all fresh.

In my opinion, the chicken meat that we got is chicken breast and it taste too dry to eat with the rice. The buckwheat tea and barley tea does not taste nice. Beef Bulgogi taste better than spicy chicken. Doenjang soup taste normal. Chick peas doesn’t go well with the bibimbap. The sides are less than the rice portion. The Korean sauce is spicy and well made. Good enough place for first time Bibimbap eaters if you choose your meat and sides well with burpple beyond deals.

Total amounted to $12.90 for 2 sets. Really cheap! Portions were good and filling too. The sets came with a choice of soup (soybean paste soup & seaweed soup) and a hot tea (barley tea & buckwheat tea).
