these are my favourites among their christmas offerings we tried: truffle christmas turkey, tomato basil and crab meat paccheri pasta, oven roasted black angus ribeye with rosemary, apple tart with vanilla sauce. the turkey with truffle shavings was quite an experience! super luxurious to be eating those truffle slices. ๐Ÿ˜

This has always been my favourite starter whenever I dine at an Italian restaurant. And District 10 amped up this dish by using aged parma that was aged for *36 months*.

I love that ham.. It was rich, with a bold flavour. And that's where the melons come in, to refresh your taste buds with it's sweet juices when eaten together with the more intense parma ham.

Wrapped with savoury pancetta ham with its accompanying garnish of rocket salad and sliced tomatoes. The balance of sweet, savoury makes a good appetizer to any meal.

Such plump, juicy scallops wrapped in a soft pancetta ham that's not too salty. What I also like is how they've used balsamic vinegar dressing to lift this dish with a delicate fragrance.

Grilled bone-in, this is an absolute masterpiece with the robust flavours from the dry-aging process and the sweetness from the cognac rub.

These Wagyu Sliders stood out for me in the appetiser set because they were textured, well-flavoured and suitably hearty. I wolfed one, and washed it down with a swig of Asahi.
LIFE IS GOOD.

The dry aging process breaks the connective tissues in the muscles of the beef, creating a natural tenderizing method for the bone-in cuts. As a result, it creates a layer of flavours that are seeped into the heavy marbling of the meat. To further intensify the flavours, Chef Luca gives the bone-in tomahawk a nice cognac rub every single day for a total of 30 days long to infuse the alcohol and allow a spectrum of flavours to accentuate through the aging process of the meat. What you get 30 days later is a Cognac Dry-aged Tomahawk Steak that costs $23++/100g with a minimum order of 1.6kg.

I think marbling is what I'm looking for. Chef Luca has prepared the perfect steak with cognac on the dry-aged game. The culinary team has marinated the tomahawk with cognac daily over a period of time. To maintain air circulation and seal in the cognac, the cut is wrapped with a quality cheesecloth. Under a dry-aging chiller with monitored humidity and temperature, the meat is set to "age". Despite having a blocked nose and ear, I can taste the meat and marbling near the bone through the tomahawk steak was especially juicy, giving its hearty taste with a hint of cognac. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Both were made to shine in their own limelight as the Grilled Calamari has a nice smokey flavour and aroma, complemented by the tomatoes, capers and kalamata olives while the Grilled Scallops are a joy to eat as each pop of scallop is wrapped with pancetta ham.

Handmade Fettucine, lovingly doused with creamy truffle sauce, then adorned with plump scallops and sizeable prawns! Makes me happy just talking about it ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š
As @whatjeanneats would say: THE SEA HAS ITS GIFTS TOO.

I loved the juiciness of the scallops and the light saltiness of this pancetta. ๐Ÿ˜

Exclusive to District 10. Chef Luca Pezzera performed a drunken intervention to the dry-aging process - this Tomahawk was dry-aged in house for 30 days using cognac. It was then fired on the grill, before it was flamed again (pictured) with more cognac. What you get is externally crisp and smoky steak with a strong-flavoured juicy interior that exudes hints of cognac.

It was also a resource intensive process to dry age this. The culinary team of four is on roster to marinate the tomahawk with the selected amount of cognac on a daily basis. The cut is then wrapped with a cheese cloth (a breathable and light gauze-like cotton) which helps to seal in the cognac while maintaining air circulation. And I saw the price tag of that roll of cloth - it's a few hundred dollars just for a roll of cloth.

TO DIE FOR... dish costs around $30++ but totally worth the price as I havenโ€™t had such amazing pork chop in Singapore. The fat dissipated in my mouth (almost like wagyu)... and aroma of the char-grilled bits = spectacular.

Had high expectations of this place but turns out food was average. Cod itself was good but the orange sauce messed up the dish, quality of angus ribeye was also just so-so. 6pm plus on a Saturday and we were the only diners. Won't return again.

Simple yet it works miracles. The Burrata is extremely creamy and contrasted well with the bright cherry tomatoes and spicy arugula.

Homemade fettuccine with prawns and scallops in a creamy truffle sauce. The unmistakable truffle aroma brought the pasta dish to a whole new level.
