We were almost going to pass on this (because we were having Samgyupsal after) but thank goodness we ended up ordering it. The cut of egg was thick, fluffy, mildly sweet and coated with a crisp fried panko shell. What tied the whole sandwich together was the layer of (wasabi or mustard?) spread in between the block of egg and what I presume to be slices of Sunday's signature Fat White Bread. One time all I ate was a loaf of that very bread for 3 days straight, but that's a story for another day 😩
Super pretty, cozy space + good food, desserts and drinks! What more can one ask for 🤩 Heard they now serve a version of the sando with mentaiko mayo so I'm dying to re-visit!

Been wanting to visit this place since it opened months ago... finally came here on a quiet Saturday rainy morning and wish I could have this every week! .

Coffee was good too but it took quite a while after the sandwich was served. Prefer it to be served at the same time, if possible :)

Wasn’t expecting much from the menu but turns out it was one of the best sizable tamago with a slight hint of wasabi and a brilliant mix between ham & cheese with a fair amount of strawberry spread ! Impressive toast quality indeed 👌 #highlyRAEted •

I was in dilemma between the Mentaiko sandwich and Tamagoyaki Sando. I guess the later gives more texture. The team really nailed that juicy breaded tamagoyaki. It was thick, sweet and perfectly sandwiched between two toasted white bread with wasabi and honey mustard and pickled yellow radish. I wish the could lessen the honey mustard and make the wasabi profile more prominent. RM18 per serving.
This is my go to sandwich whenever I’m at Sunday, reason is because it’s basic yet delicious. It’s actually just tamagoyaki with bread, but the tamagoyaki alone tastes amazing.
It’s so thick and it can be quite addictive. Also, the sandwich has a hint of wasabi to bring out the goodness of tamagoyaki.
The legendary tamagoyaki sando, one of the many reasons why people flock over to this cafe for. For someone who didn’t love omelettes, I quite liked this! I also appreciated how thick the tamago was and how some mustard-like sauce in between the sandwich complemented the dish. Looks small, but best to be shared.
Perfect Sundays are made of coffee and simple eats. Thankfully, this newbie in Happy Garden offers them both. Keep this spot in mind for your next catch-up sesh with your best pal on weekends. First-timers, Sunday’s sandwiches are a must-have, especially the Tamagoyaki Sando (RM18). These perfectly toasted finger sandwiches are stuffed with thick cuts of tamago and finished with a light spread of homemade wasabi-mayo that adds a fiery punch. Black (RM10) and White (RM11) coffees are brewed well, and Burppler Rueann Dass finds the latter highly enjoyable for its creaminess and chocolatey notes.

Simple and very delicious. Thick cuts of the egg, coated in a crispy batter (I think breadcrumbs?) providing nice crunch. Love how the bread is toasted yet still holds its softness in the middle. I really enjoyed this, but am a bit disappointed with the portion size. Really small finger sandwich-like cuts for RM18 doesn’t feel right :/
