Ro Ppong

Ro Ppong was not bad, cream ppong just tasted like carbonara. Was expecting a clear soup kind of consistency but turned out the broth(?)/ sauce was really thick. Got very gelat after a while.

I love the rose sauce a lot as it wasn’t too cloying/creamy. There was also a generous serving of seafood and the noodles were springy & chewy 🤤

Now you can have the best of both worlds for days you feel like having shellfish or meals that you want to enjoy with beef. Several of the beef versions of the jjamppong include the Beef Ro Ppong ($18.90), Beef Cha Ppong ($15.90), Beef Keu Ppong ($15.90) and Beef II Ppong ($15.90). Out of the four, I tried the Beef Ro Ppong which comes with wheat noodles in a tomato and cream sauce base topped with bulgogi beef and lots of mozzarella cheese for the cheesy pull. Very hearty and rich, you will be utterly satisfied and full by the end of the meal! If you are not feeling for noodles that day, there is also the Spicy Keu Beef Risotto ($18.90) of arborio rice that is cooked with a cream sauce and served with bulgogi beef, spinach and chilli oil.

really creamy & cheeesy!!! 🧀🤤 would say its worth a try if u are craving for the popular rosé pasta😋 very flavourful but i can imagine how it can get a lil overbearing after eating half a bowl! 😬 very mild spicy so great for those with lower spice tolerance!😛

Of the 3, I love the Ro Ppong-Roje the most as the tomato/cream/cheese sauce was so delicious!! The texture of the noodles across both ppongs were springy and had the right amount of bite. The garlic pizza was also fantastic, especially when used as a vehicle for the Korean sweet cream 🤤

I'll admit, I think Korean food is among the poorer cuisines in the world. But this place fuses the usual jjamppong with other styles and I was hooked. Featuring tomato cream sauce, this was more like pasta using Korean noodles, which were so hearty. Topped with tobiko and mozzarella cheese, the latter hardened too quickly for my liking.

It’s fusion but somehow familiar tasting. We had the Keu ppong cream and the ro ppong. Both were tasty (and filling)!

Love the cheese on top & the noodles were chewy!!

The Keu Ppong Cream was like Carbonara but tastier and less jelak (though towards the end it was still abit overwhelming). The bf had Ro Ppong Roje which consisted of slightly spicy tomato cream sauce and loaded with cheese! 2 light eaters can easily share one pasta. I’m not a big fan of the noodle texture though; it was slightly chewy like the Korean glass noodles.
