An unassuming, friendly, good value place that serves fresh and tasty seafood! I’m always pleased when I drop by. My regular orders: Mini bara chirashi don (always with a generous amount of fish for the price), raw Hokkaido scallop sushi - $4.80 (nama hotate), and guilty pleasure tobiko cheese - $2.80. Per entry parking at liang court on weekends just helps to sweeten the deal.
It’s fusion but somehow familiar tasting. We had the Keu ppong cream and the ro ppong. Both were tasty (and filling)!
We had the Curry poutine fries, the mushroom jaffles, breakfast jaffles, pork ragu and some cold brew. Honestly wasn’t expecting a lot coz it seemed like a cafe that focused on the aesthetics and was pleasantly surprised! The cheese on the fries were scorched which added nice depth of flavour to them, the jaffles were crisp and tasty (if you’re hungry go for the breakfast one-it was pretty substantial, but we did prefer the flavour if the truffle and mushrooms). The pork ragu was a decent sized portion and tasty. And the coffee was very good! We’ll be back soon!
Currywurst - multifunctional satisfaction on the curry, sausage and fries fronts. The clam chowder lingering in the back was quite disappointing though, I'd skip it next time.
