It looks plentiful and appetising.

Mee soto($4.50) - 9.5/10 Bergedil is soft and crumbly, flavorful too. Taste of potato is sooooooo good. Soup flavor of chicken is stronk, can tell that they boiled for a long time to achieve this perfection. Chickenis tender. Noodles also absorbed the chicken broth flavor too. Even beansprouts give additional crunch to the dish.

Throughout my eating adventures, I have not ventured much into the mee rebus scene and might not be the best critic of this dish. However, every bite of this plate just brought so much joy and comfort that totally made my trip there worthwhile. For the price point of $4.50, the “Power” comes at a hearty portion with the addition of an egg and chopped chicken.

There’s also the “Normal” and Special” at $3.50 and $6 respectively which the pricer option having a chicken drumstick but that can be covered on another day as the power lies in the middle selection. The yellow noodles are drenched in the thick potato gravy that’s packed with so much flavour with a hint of spiciness that will hit you lightly at the back of your throat. The finishing touch of the nutty satay sauce at the top of the pile just made this sloppy mess even more irresistible and true enough, we slurped everything down within minutes.

Came here to try the day after this stall was featured in FoodKing. Both the mee rebus and Mee soto is truly to die for.

PRICE: $4.50

WAITING TIME: 25 mins on a weekday around 2pm

REMARKS:
- huge piece of tender chicken breast meat
- too much bean sprouts for my liking
- the soup is good but unfortunately i kept comparing it to my favourite mee soto at Changi Village Hawker Centre

WILL WE EAT THIS AGAIN? Yes

Eating this for the first time I was just thinking “omgah where have you been all my life” cos this was the best mee soto I’ve tried, also partly because the uncle gives so much chicken meat. Love love the bergedil too; pro tip from my mum is to order this gosong (no noodle, and the uncle will compensate with even more chicken!) and load up the carbs with extra bergedil

Very indulgent with the addition of drumstick in the mee soto. Shiok!

With those meat and bergedil, best mee soto I've ever eaten.

Probably one of the best Mee Rebus you can find in Singapore. The gravy is so rich and flavourful here. What makes its extra special is the drizzle of satay sauce to add an extra oomph to the dish. I like to order mine with an extra juicy chicken drumstick to make this dish even more power packed!

😍 Came to this hawker centre to hunt down giant hokkien mee but also discovered this Malay stall selling mee rebus topped with satay sauce!!!!! Really good classic Malay food at super modest prices!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Hard to miss this stall when half the people at the hawker centre were eating from there. They have a really decadent looking mee soto ($4, $5.50) with a huge chicken thigh 🍗 and potato that I so am gonna try next time #burpple #dqky

Really satisfied with a bowl of this, as the soup is really flavourful with all the spices inside.
