What an interesting combination! Lemon mousse is just tart enough with a nice pistachio base and fruit gelee!
Looking forward to try the others!!!
Isn't it just too beautiful?!

Looking at this glossy shiny beautiful βdonutβ, how can I have the heart to eat it? Too beautiful!
A refreshing taste - lemon mousse inside, covered with strawberry jelly and pistachio sponge.
This darling little dessert takeaway shop located along River Valley Road creates all their bakes and gelato in-house, making it the perfect post-brunch place to satisfy your sweet tooth. The gelato flavours are without reproach: get a scoop of the velvety smooth, creamy Sesame Praline ($5) with a waffle finger ($3.50) and enjoy it while walking around Fort Canning Park catching Pokemon. If you prefer to eat in at their counter space, share a Fruit Loop ($8) β a striking red donut-shaped cake with layers of tangy lemon mousse, strawberry jelly and pistachio sponge.
Avg price: $5 per person

Situated right behind the bus stop opposite Sultan Mohammed Road at River Valley Road is a newly-opened patisserie and ice-cream bar named Butterknife Folk that just opened its doors today. More of a takeaway spot, but they also have a small counter space that serves as a standing bar for dine-in. Featuring a Lemon Mousse, Strawberry Jelly and Pistachio Sponge within, I like how the lemon mousse was more subtle in flavour and its zesty flavours managed to go well with the slightly sweeter strawberry jelly within. The pistachio sponge and nuts helped add a little salted nuttiness to the cake, while the butter sable crumbles down neatly while giving the mousse cake a little more dimension in texture. There are other cakes available here too that are dainty and all Instagram-worthy; a place that's worth dropping by if in the area for some fancy cakes.
