Hokkien Mee cooked by a ex-limousine driver; Chef Goo Red Sea Prawns Fried Hokkien Mee was born out of the Covid pandemic when the owner’s driving livelihood was affected.
The stall specialises in a variety of seafood centric dishes, including Clams Hokkien Mee and it’s signature Red Sea Prawns Fried Hokkien Mee, which I ordered but without prawns 😅
Upon receiving my meal, I was surprised at how generous the portion was and the amount of ingredients that came with it. The broth that the noodles were cooked in was really rich; prawn lovers would love this. But thankfully for me, I managed to hide it with the generous dollop of chilli given. The pork lard, sotong and thick strips of pork belly that topped off the dish gave it a rich flavour and you can clearly taste the distinct flavour of each of the ingredients through this umami-laden mess.
No trip to AVHC is complete without an avocado drink. My choice of poison has always been Mr Avocado although standards seem to have dipped a little. Guess I would give King Avocado a shot next time!
I prefer King Avocado because is vey creamy and less sweet compared to Mr Avocado which is much sweeter.
(S$3 each)
Happy 30th Anniversary!
Always ended up with more than 1 cup every time I’m there. Yes, very filling but I couldn’t resist, the avocado shake is so good.
Not every cup has the 30th Anniversary sticker but Auntie saw me taking photos and gave me the one with sticker 😂 Thank you, Auntie.
Not forgetting my favourite silky skin Szechuan Spicy Wanton from the same food center.

Avocado Shake (M) $4

Best avocado juice could only be found in Alexandra Village Food Centre. We frequent this stall 盛丰 #01-11 or King Avocado #01-17. Both are similar in taste but we prefer the former for it is not so sweet. Their strawberries milk shake is tasty too.
Xiao Long Bao ($4.5)
Fried Dumpling ($6)
Avocado Juice from Mr. Avocado ($4) - not in the picture
One of my favourite hawker centres in Singapore!!! The dumplings and xiao long bao do not need any more introduction as you will see a long queue forming in front of the stall. I also love the food from the Thai stall located at the most corner. Ordered their pad thai and they are yummy. Carrot cake and Oyster Omelette r kinda disappointing; ordered the biggest portion but their portion were quite small and tasted quite salty. Luckily, good old avocado juice from Mr. Avocado never disappoints👍🏼
-Mr Avocado Exotic Fruit Juice-
Even an avocado haters (like mr. Tastytested) will start to love avocado juice since they try this one 👍
The juice texture is nice. It's very smooth, creamy, rich, not too thick and not too watery.
The touch of gula melaka really makes a different sensation.
This is the giant size and it never felt too big for a good avocado juice.
p.s. There're many other stalls there but this one is the former and most popular one.
💰$6(Giant) ; $3(Small)

I decided to come back to try Mr Avocado but sad to say it was closed no choice gotta try other stall instead. Frankly Speaking Every Fruit Juice Stall at Alexandra Village Hawker Center Selling Avocado Juice at $2.50 Looking like the stall owner are snatching each other business like snatching their customer away. Nvm I will still be back for Mr Avocado. This is my 2nd Avocado Drink. Operating Hours for this fruit juice stall I am nt sure cos I didn"t ask.
