Salted Egg Chicken ($5), Cereal Chicken ($5), Vegetarian Bento ($6)
Good portion size, quite delicious but nothing mind-blowing so it’s good for typical work lunch.
Xiao Long Bao ($4.5)
Fried Dumpling ($6)
Avocado Juice from Mr. Avocado ($4) - not in the picture
One of my favourite hawker centres in Singapore!!! The dumplings and xiao long bao do not need any more introduction as you will see a long queue forming in front of the stall. I also love the food from the Thai stall located at the most corner. Ordered their pad thai and they are yummy. Carrot cake and Oyster Omelette r kinda disappointing; ordered the biggest portion but their portion were quite small and tasted quite salty. Luckily, good old avocado juice from Mr. Avocado never disappoints👍🏼
Char Siew and Roasted Pork Rice Bowl ($9.8)
I never thought char siew could be this good until I tried it at Fook Kin.
Ordered a combo of char siew and roasted pork but I prefer the char siew so much more. There is a crisp to the char siew and there is a layer of fat inside the meat, making it the perfect piece of char siew. It comes with hainan rice and lava egg making it the ‘atas’ version of roasted meat rice bowl. My friends who ordered 3 combo: char siew, roasted pork and duck also agreed that char siew is the most special and the duck is worth to try.
While the roasted pork is good, it is nothing special and you can find it at a normal hawker stall.
Must order the char siew if u do come by this restaurant.
