Perhaps an unpopular opinion but I found this average. The cake tasted like Chinese huat kueh and the sauce had a slight bitter aftertaste. Would probably get some other dessert if I'm back here!
Decided to try something new other than my usual sticky date pudding. Had the banana mango crumble, which had softened pieces of mango and banana cooked in a caramelised sauce at the bottom. Flavour wise, the ice cream went well with the caramelised fruits. The buttery crumble also helped provide some contrast in texture. While this dish (approx $13?) was tasty, I’m still a bigger fan of the sticky date pudding! Maybe you can try this if you’re feeling adventurous that day.
If you’ve never been, please do yourself a favour & head to @pscafe for their amazing rendition of sticky date pudding. They have bloomed at any convenient locations, which allows me to get my cravings satisfied pretty quickly!
The light & fluffy date cake is topped with vanilla bean ice cream, sitting in a pool of warm caramel, which blends perfectly to give you that sweet comforting warm taste to your palate.
If the sweetness is a tad too much for you, balance it out with their Key Lime Pie, whose tartness will do just the right trick! It comes with a thick biscuit-like crust, sprinkled with more biscuit crumbs to add some texture into that creamy sour curd, which will give you just the right amount of punch.

I love it for its tartness which helps balances out all the richness of the meal. However, its not overly sour to a point where it becomes difficult to eat. Definitely a good way to end a indulgent meal.
And my go-to place is definitely PS. Cafe. Think: A super moist sponge cake covered in a warm bath of brown sugar, butter, molasses, and port sauce. It may look like a lot of sauce but trust me, you’ll want to drown your cake in it. You may request for it to be served on its own, but since we're already knee-deep in toffee sauce, just go all the way and have it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A perfect way to end an evening, the adage that you’ll always have room for dessert is always true.
A heavenly match of cold creaminess with warm soft sticky date pudding surrounded by lashings of toffee sauce. One of the best I’ve had!

This warm plate of dessert is always served at the perfect temperature and has the perfect balance of flavours ! Definitely a must try !
Love: key lime pie, dark chocolate banana cheese cake, sticky date pudding, chocolate nut doorstop. The cakes don't come cheap but they're delightful!
