This fried kuey teow is similar to the ones you can find in Penang. Not as good, but good enough to satisfy your char kuey teow cravings.

We also had the fried sotong with salted egg. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Under chef recommendation, with the up and rising popularity of salted egg sauce, how about comibing the addicitve sauce with fried sotong? It was a good combination with a slight sweet after taste. Great for tables with kids to order this!

Situated opposite Aljunied MRT, with a total of 40 tables with indoor and outdoor seating options. One can expect to taste their traditional and localised dishes cooked with excellent heat control bringing out the fragrance from fresh ingredients used. 😋

From the Penang special category, their Penang assam laksa is modified to suit locals and uses kampung fish that makes the broth thick and rich.

Assam Fish head, with fresh chili, onions and thai lemon making it sweet & sour satisfying which goes well with plain rice. And of course, their fresh Chili Crab 🦀, dipped their deep hot fried mantou into chili crab gravy yummy!

Volcano Chicken, perfect dish to enjoy the flaming chicken display that will amaze everyone and enjoy the delicious chicken and soup at the end!

Overall, it's a perfect place I would highly recommend to dine in with friends and families in groups for lunch/dinner. 👍🏻

My must have: salted egg yolk sotong. New try: marmite chicken which is very tasty but the chicken has too many tiny bones which make it cumbersome to eat.

Amazing plate of fried sotong. Must eat.

Surely one of the better salted egg dishes around. Slices of fried sotong coated in a generous amount of super gao, creamy salted egg sauce, with just the right amount of crunch. So sinful but good! This small size fed 3 of us very well but if you need more, the medium goes for $21 and the large at $28.

Although named Penang Seafood Restaurant, it doesn’t just serve Penang dishes but a whole huge range of other zi char. The queues were really long despite it being a weekday, so I would definitely recommend reservations before heading down. But, there’s a minimum spending amount imposed for reservations although I’m not sure if it’s for all group sizes. We tried to reserve a table for 6 and that needed a minimum spending of $120, which we did without in the end since we were there early. Food was great, one of the better zi chars around! Will surely be back in future to try the other popular dishes like the Penang Laksa and Salted Egg Sotong!
