We tried almost every flavour they had - sea salt caramel, cookies and cream, thai red tea, horlicks, peanut butter gula melaka, dark chocolate and tokyo banana. Their staff was a little impatient when we were deciding which flavours to get hmmm... Nothing amazing, but if I had to pick a favourite I would probably say cookies & cream was the best.
Price: $7+ for a double scoop

This #burpplebeyond post features ice cream and waffles- one of the more worthwhile ones youโll find around SG IMHO. My Yuan Yang waffles was dense with an evident charcoal aftertaste for 1/2 the made-fresh-upon-order batter. The stickier than usual ice cream scoops of coconut and salted caramel were an extended sweet hat trick to the great waffles.
On the other plain buttermilk waffles sits a gorgeous swirl of hojicha soft serve. While I found the mix of toppings slightly awkward and the soft serve less appealing compared to the ice cream scoops; this is easily overcome when I can freely select from a variety of toppings and soft serves/ ice cream next time round.
Ordered this customised dessert because of somewhat positive reviews about how ingenious it is to pair salted egg yolk sauce with gelato and waffles. And so other than the charcoal waffles (which is the only one that comes with the sauce), I topped it up with a Salted Caramel Gelato, and in all I paid S$12.00 for it.
The waffle is surprisingly crispy, with a tinge of bitterness. Those who like their waffles less fluffy will probably like this one. The Salted Caramel Gelato tasted rich, not outstandingly special, but there are some parts in the scoop that were clumpy.
Not too sure if this combination is the most decadent one, because I got a bit โgelakโ slightly past midway. Maybe itโs not a good idea to pair salted with salted. When all else fails, getting a cup of coffee will cleanse the taste buds a little, so the overall satisfaction is not in the reds.
You could still hear the crunch sound even when it turns cold ๐ Great for those who like their waffles VERY crispy. Highly recommend their Thai red tea, Triple C, Affogato & Sea salt caramel ๐ฆ! Actually all their ice creams are nice heehee ๐๐ป gotta a feeling that I'll gain twenty thousand grammes here oops ๐ #twentygrammes #instafood_sg #sgfoodies #cafehoppingsg #sgfoodporn #burpple #foodstagram #foodspotting #foodporn #dessert #saltedeggyolk #waffle #charcoalwaffle #yummy
The waffle was light on the inside, crispy on the outside, thick, fluffy and sweetened just the way I like it! The salted caramel had a good balance of sweet and salty, while we would've liked the black sesame to have a stronger sesame aroma. On a side note, I need to come to AMK Ave 10 more often. It's foodie paradise๐
Bad news: They looked like styrofoam.
Badder news: They tasted like styrofoam.
There were visible air pockets within the deceivingly fluffy waffles, but it was all a lie. These were spongy, dry, tasteles, and left an unpleasant lingering siap siap feel. Of the 15 waffle spots I visited with my 3 sisters, this was the one they unanimously declared as the worst. We finished the ice cream and left the waffles barely a quarter eaten.
Good news: The Thai Red Tea, Sea Salt Caramel, and Black Sesame ice cream flavours were freaking awesome.
Heard and seen many pictures of such combi for waffles and finally tried it today. There's a new cafe near my work place! Getting more happening ๐
