Tried 25% level of sweetness and ironically, it barely had any taste 😂 sweetness is entrenched in the foam itself so I enjoyed that more LOL. Strength of the matcha 🍵 powder is 👌 though! .

Loved the light airy whipping cream Espuma on top — made from pure Hokkaido milk. I hate whipped cream and yet this was on another level! The ice also sent my Friend and I to cloud 9 cus it was so fluffy! Very different from the usual bingsu or Chinese shaved ice because it melts in the mouth!
As a baker myself, I know that quality matters in delivering a sustainable product & I'm happy to see it shine through in this particular dessert. Keep it up team @matchayasg!
One thing that we both agreed on was how the 🍫 brownie was out of place since it was alone and cold underneath the mountain. Was also looking for more red bean than shiratama hehe 😆
Perhaps the brownie could be placed at the side or sticking out on TOP? 😄 .

I've tried their original charcoal waffle + salted egg sauce when they had just open in Bedok & I felt like this is the upgraded version! Crispy waffle is here to stay, but matched with salted egg soft serve, which DOES taste like salted egg, especially with slivers of salted egg on TOP. IT WORKS!
And the fried basil made feel like I was having salted egg prawns as well 😂 fatcat has outdone themselves, yet again. My guy friends were raving about it, so I think this would capture a guy's heart if you're thinking of doing so.. 😏

Definitely not worth over a hundred bucks! Pretty to look at but quality is questionable hmm... Beef was very chewy and the rice did not have any seasoning! Portion for the uni is really small too 😕

Wandering around Chateraise was like a kid in a sweet shop because it has so many matcha goodies!
Definitely didn't regret getting this Uji Matcha ice cream on a stick! It's my first time having it in this form and I'm impressed.

Inside the ultra thin chocolate crumble shell is matcha cream is Matcha cream that had obvious bitter notes. Downside was that it melts fast so you gotta eat it fast 😉 I'll probably try some of their other matcha and azuki bean desserts next time!

Very relieved that it tastes as good as it looks. Totally worth the trip, especially for Choco lovers! 🤗 If you're wondering, the petals are entirely made out of chocolate mousse!
I was particularly intrigued by its base. The delicate flower was supported by a thin spherical dark chocolate sphere full of crunchy, caramel and citrus surprises from the almond nougatine & Grand Marnier essences.

Very aromatic and brewed with authentic Nagoya coffee beans and infused with three types of tea. How cool is that?! Sampled several other flavours and I am sure this is not gonna be my last one. Their Mini sago and Grass jelly were addictive 😋😉 .
