Center-Cut Prime Ribeye

$99.00 · 18 Reviews

Thoroughly enjoyed myself here. Steak was amazing, go for the ribeye for greater satisfaction! The red wine elevated the taste of the food. Chocolate lava cake was one of the best I have ever had but steak is the star. Look out for promotions as they are usually very value for money! Service is awesome 😎

16 oz and have it medium rare, perfection!

It’s very flavourful, rich tasting and tender

You might have the misconception that Morton's beef is grilled but that's not the case. All steaks are broiled to order at 800-1000F, seals in flavour (flame from above) then seasoned with Morton's seasoning salt. The steak is then dressed with au jus which is the meat broth and garnished with watercress. .
Here’s some cuts of steak 🥩 available at Morton’s:
1️⃣ Dry-aged beef
2️⃣ Wet-aged beef
3️⃣ Porterhouse steak
4️⃣ Fillet Mignon (my favourite steak)😋
5️⃣ New Yolk Strip
6️⃣ Ribeye (most popular steak) 😋
.
Good steak paired with a good wine leads to a perfect lunch or dinner. .

These new items on the menu will have your familiar flavours but with some twists and fun.

Known to be the most sought after cut of American wagyu beef, the 8oz American Wagyu Royal Ribeye Cap Steak ($112) may just cap your day with a high note. I'm not a true beef connoisseurs but I believe its price tag does say something about its flavour and value.
.

For a little twist of flavour, The 7oz American Wagyu Filet Mignon with Fire Roasted Poblano Butter ($108) pairs up with Mexican spice. The mild to medium heat of the pepper-infused butter teases the taste buds just a little, not too much. This cut is leaner though and more salt is appreciated to highlight its flavour.

Center-Cut Prime Ribeye 🥩 (Topup S$30++ for 3-course Sunday Lunch Menu [S$98++])
Available at @MortonsSteak in @MO_Singapore
Cooked medium.
Opt to serve with brown sauce, plus sour cream for the mash on the side. The meat was done just right without too raw or too tough. The texture was smoother compared to the filet mignon, but the serving was too huge for a female like me. The end part was a tab too chewy than preferred.

400g of ribeye to see 2017 off, and welcome 2018. Absolutely solid stuff.

Lunch is a steal since our usual choice of 450g center cut ribeye is one of the options for mains (+$35 supplement, with creamed spinach and mash potatoes, no substitution). Appetisers and sides are all mini sizes (more than sufficient considering it's US portions). There are non beef options too for you weirdos out there who don't eat beef at a steakhouse.

This classic American steakhouse continues to be top on the list of celebratory restaurants, thanks to a timeless combination of great steaks and stellar service. Be it birthdays, anniversaries or even proposals, the staff will make sure you're well taken care of. The Center-Cut Prime Ribeye ($99, 455g) is the cut to go for — expect a slightly charred, caramelised exterior that gives way to a juicy centre with a good amount of marbling, flavour and texture. It's no wonder it's the Burpple community's favourite! Save space for Morton's Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake ($30), which some Burpplers describe to be one of the best you can have in Singapore.
Avg Price: $150 per person
