This well-fried pad thai is sweeter than usual (not complaining cause I love my pad thais sweet), but otherwise pretty balanced.
Together with our Pad Thai, we tried their seafood salad vermicelli, crispy fried prawns, as well as grilled pork and Wagyu beef skewers. While some were heavy in taste, they were cleverly balanced with garnishing and spices that accentuated the Thai flavours.
To complete the meal, one cannot miss out on their desserts and Thai-inspired cocktails. We would recommend their Thai milk tea and durian ice cream that would finish one's meal with a big satisfied smile.
Having no pictures on the menu, I was kind of expecting this to be like Pad Thai with beef, not beef char kuay teow! This must be the most pricey and 'atas' CKT ever. The noodles had a nice deep charred flavour (wok hei!), and I think there was more beef than noodles. However, this was really really really oily and I could not finish it. There was literally a pool of oil at the bottom of the bowl, oilier than hawker centre's CKT 👎.
Monday morning cravings.
Probably the best pad thai we've had in Singapore, complete with great ambience and service. We especially loved the tenacity of the flavorful noodles, and refreshingly crunchy, juicy bits of starfruit – a welcoming rendition to the traditional Thai dish.
The green curry was robust, full of Thai spices that lingered on the tongue. So good we'd be happy just having this with a bowl of steamed white rice!
The Pad Thai has the right balance of sweet, sour, salty and umami. The curry is also a good find...creamy with hints of fish sauce, palm sugar and curry. I love it but be prepared to sweat it since its it comes with a dose of heat.

$25 for a plate of fresh pad Thai loaded with shrimps, sprouts and peanut bits.. Hmm.. I shall pass it if I ever revisit. The flat noodles were too rubbery (specially imported and supposedly authentic texture that meant so) while the bean sprouts were way undercooked with offensive raw taste.. Aw..
