Can taste the hoijicha, just that it's a little milky, rather than those really thick and strong bittersweet hojicha that hojicha lovers like me would be expecting.

The chicken was q soft and tender! It also comes with torched mentaiko sauce and some seaweed as topping. The mentaiko was evident and has a very tiny bit of spice which was pretty good!

Pretty affordable considering it's a huge bowl and the gyoza also came crispy! The beef was slightly chewy at some parts but overall was a comforting bowl.

This was richhhHhh dark chocolate ๐Ÿซ with milk and a nice cold way to tie up the entire meal! This drink was on the sweeter side so we would ask for less chocolate the next time we order. Whatโ€™s more, oat milk is available for an additional $1! AND you get $1 off drinks with every main purchased ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ
Thank you @scalemicroinfluencers for the invite and @dailystaplessg for the hearty meal!
Do head down to #02-40 Northshore Plaza I to try out their food!

This was a yummy and filling snack ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ that is good for sharing! They prepare the snacks freshly upon order and the takoyaki balls went well with the savoury-punchy sauce. Simple but rlly good!

Hiding in the heartlands of punggol in Northshore Plaza I, Daily staples serves affordable Japanese-inspired rice bowls and soba bowls for the soul ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿซถ Hereโ€™s what we got to try:
๐™Ž๐™–๐™ก๐™ข๐™ค๐™ฃ ๐˜ฟ๐™ค๐™ฃ ($9.90)
They were super generous with the ingredients, giving us not one but TWO ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŸ!! sizable slabs of salmon and a good helping of corn, edamame, shibazuke (pickled cucumbers & eggplant), as well as a jiggly sous-vide egg ๐Ÿณ to top it off. The ingredients worked well together and itโ€™s really our idea of a convenient but healthy & filling lunch hehe
