We had our dinner there on a weekend and it wasn't too crowded. Beer was good; I was surprised to learn that they brew their own beer since the place didn't look much like a bar! Asked the staff for a recommendation and tried a light, malty beer. Side of spam fries was great as well, but the mains we ordered could be better.

Both rice bowls had very hard, dehydrated rice, as if it has been kept and reheated for a few days.

Girl: The Spicy Mentaiko Salmon bowl came with pickled vegetables and edamame which was a nice touch, but Mentaiko was a bit too sour and light for my liking, missing the creamy, full-bodied flavor of Mentaiko.

Boy: Chix and Cheez felt overbaked, as the layer of cheese was quite hard when served.

I think it's a nice place to grab some beers with friends, but the food has room for improvement.

Tucked away in Ang Mo Kio, Crimson by Sunbird is a hidden gem that reveals an all-new dining concept with fusion menu for all-day dining and 10 taps of local craft, beers, kombucha and sparkling tea! Explore your neighbourhood taproom and have a casual night out with your pals and catch-up over drinks and an inclusive menu offering vegetarian options such as Cheese Toasties ($9) & Kecap Manis Tofu Rice Bowl ($10.50)! Nothing quite beats winding down with quality food ranging from light bites Nacho Beer Cheese Fries ($12) and Otah Bombs ($13) to heartier meals such as Spicy Mentaiko Salmon Rice Bowl ($14.5) and Crimson Baconator Burger ($18.50). Wash it down with a pint of fresh ice cold beer at Crimson after a long day! Did someone say Shiok?

Nice! Not too spicy. At $14.50 for two bowls using Burpple Beyond, I would definitely patronise again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, at $14.50 after burpple beyond one for one, the food met all my expectations.

The place was quiet and a tad bit difficult to find. Will be back for more

We had the chicken burger and was pleasantly surprised that the patty wasnt dry at all.
It was also great to have the chicken flavour boosted by the saltiness of the bacon. A great companion to beer.

Sides wise, the yakitori was nothing special, but give the otah bombs a try. Think fish fingers, but otah.

+1 for service too because the staff poked a hole in the cover of the takeaway boxes so the food wasnt soggy by the time i brought it home
