In line with celebrating its 10th Year Anniversary in October 2018, @ConcordeHotelSG has announced its philanthropic partnership with @Straits_Times School Pocket Money Fund!

Under this initiative, the hotel pledges SGD$10 per room that is occupied on 1st October 2018 to the foundation. Funds are raised further for the foundation from 1-31 October 2018 through a donation box placed at the Spices Café, where guests are invited and encouraged to contribute while indulging in a scrumptious meal at the hotel’s main restaurant. Guests who donate will then stand a chance to win this amazing short getaway while doing good with a happy tummy!

We tried 2 different mooncakes - the traditional single yolk white lotus and the non-conventional "Imperial Ivory" mooncake!
The mooncakes are encased in one of the most gorgeous mooncake packaging - a lacquer chest with an oriental flair and the bf's mom is totally eyeing it for her collection! Prices for a box of 2 mooncakes in the box start from $52 nett!

Love the unique mooncake which know as "Imperial Ivory - 夜明珠" (made with creamy butter pastry skin, winter melon paste filled with chunky dried longan, melon kernel seeds, macadamia bits & single yolk) complimentary from Concorde Hotel. Kimchi stew, contains pork. Priced at 7.50 (top up slightly to change to red bean rice) I find the serving to be quite reasonable for that price. The interesting part would be the red bean rice (taste like a dry and moist version of the local dessert black glutinous rice) definitely worthwhile to come back again
