Another renowned store in Golden Mile, this time serving a dry beehoon with chilli sauce. Think Satay Beehoon but instead of satay sauce it's a chilli mixture sauce. Taste was pretty good, but for $4.50 i thought the ingredients could be more generous. Would eat this if I had the craving and queue was short, but this isn't a store I would travel all the way to Golden Mile for.
Saw a long queue the previous time I was at GMFC, this time round, queue wasn't so long, thus decided to give it a try.
Had the $5 portion.
The sambal-like chilli sauce was quite spicy, almost explosive.
Pork ribs were soft and tender
Prawns were crunchy.
Overall quite solid, it is worth the long queue in my opinion.
Chilli Mee 辣椒面(干)(S$5)
Got 1 slice of hard boiled egg, a couple of prawns, a couple of pork ribs, sliced fish cakes and bean curd puff.

Mix between between yellow noodles and bee hoon served with ingredients tender pork ribs, 2 prawns (fresh),bean curd, bean sprouts, fish cakes, slices of hard-boiled egg and bowl of herbal soup on the side.
Mix it well, with the house made chilli paste (not that spicy) with a nutty flavour, super shiok.

Chilli Mee @ $4
Been craving for dry prawn mee with mee pok, and this is the closest thing that I could find here as most of the stalls sell praw noodles soup.
For $4 it comes with 1 prawn, 2 pork ribs and daopok and fish cakes. The noodles texture is great and goes really well with the sauce, though it really isn't chilli sauce as it is not spicy at all.
Overall a great dish especially when craving is satisfied!
Each portion comes with a prawn, spare ribs, hard boiled egg, fish cake, tau pok, Chung Cheng’s signature chilli sauce that is also available for sale and a bowl of herbal soup. I was expecting some fresh prawns but they use frozen prawn that are crunchy. The pork ribs were tender and fell off the bone easily. The chilli was savoury and spicy with hints of prawn paste. The level of spiciness was alright at the start but as I was halfway through it, my tongue couldn't take it that I had to take a break and get some drink 》$4
