I thought it was over priced because this is only you tiao and itβs priced the same as the char siew Cheong fun but I think itβs better because the you tiao was crispy which added a different texture in my mouth the crunch! And it absorbed some of the sauce too making every mouthful crunchy and flavourful
Lots of char Siew inside and is really worth the $4 I paid for it. They have other outlets and the taste is quite consistent. I have tried the other outlets too.
What a delight! β Soft and silky handmade rice rolls brimming with plump, crunchy prawns, doused in a generous pool of salty-savoury light soya sauce and sprinkle of roasted sesame seeds to complete the dish.

All Chee Cheong Fun was made to order on the spot. There are four choices on the Menu, Plain Chee Cheong Fun at $3, Mushrooms, Char Siew Chee Cheong Fun at $4 and Shrimps Chee Cheong Fun at $5.
Mushroom Cheong Fun ζΈ―εΌι²θθ η² - $4
The translucent rice rolls cradle stir-fried shitake and Shimeji mushrooms. The rolls were springy and smooth, drenched in the savoury sweet dark sauce with white sesame seeds toppings.
This one has been making waves recently; started by former Peach Garden Dim Sumβs Head Chef, Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun has opened a third outlet at Bangkit, after the ones in Clementi and Bedok drew crowds and queues for this silky smooth comfort food.
Specialising in HK-style Cheong Fun with all orders are freshly-made in stall;l, every element of this humble dish, from the soft, velvety rice noodle sheets to the sauce and the fillings, is prepared daily on-site using old-school traditional methods.
Currently they have it in plain and 3 different fillings:
Signature Mushroom Cheong Fun ($4); Shiitake and shimeji mushrooms stir-fried in butter and oyster sauce.
Char Siew Cheong Fun ($4); Filled with bits of pork char-siew and perfect for meat lovers. My preferred flavour π
Prawn Cheong Fun ($5) thatβs made with a substantial amount of fresh prawns!
You can tell a cheong fun is good when it's skin is translucent enough for the fillings to peer through teasingly at you π although all elements of the Cheong Fun is pretty, I would prefer to have my cheong fun skin to even thinner.
