Old school cooking by an elderly chef who hasn’t lost his touch. Good wok hei. The 六神汤 is not only well double boiled but the ingredients are so edible that it’s a meal by itself. The small sized chicken in the soup is so tender and tasty that I almost regretted ordering the pork chop. But still the pork chop is tummy good. The fish slides cooked with bitter gourd in black bean sauce is full of wok hei. My worry is the elderly couple and the daughter may call it a day in the future. Then all these delicious old school dishes would disappear.
An old school style of cooking crispy duck. Very crispy skin with tasty duck meat and tasty glutinous rice. Must ask for the dark sweet sauce to go with the crispy skin. The combination is great. Yummy.
This old school Restuarant serves this old school side dish to our delight. In this day and age of modern dining this sort of side dish is a good stroll to the past to start a dinner. The duck ingredients were very tender and tasty. Yummy start to an old school dinner.
Male crab with creamy roe. S$35 for a crab. I believe it is a good price. Yummy! The crab meat noodle was also excellent.
#cantstopwontstop Miss #crabinator strikes again😋 By the time the season ends, I'll probably need to be on statins with my skyrocketting cholesterol levels. But heck- nothing I wouldn't do for my favourite #winterdelicacy of all time! 😍😍 #hairycrabseason #burpple #yummy #foodporn #foodgasm #foodpics #foodie #igfood #instafood #foodstagram #igfoodie #sgig #sgfood #sgfoodie #sgeats #eatoutsg #foodspotting #foodphotography #igeats #igdaily #picoftheday #instadaily
