2 veggie + 1 meat @ $4.20
Meat is good. According to the stall guy, it's their unique dish, something like Thai mayo chicken.
The veggie can taste better if they're handled with more care and effort.
Thought it's a tad expensive given that it's a neighbourhood coffee shop. Felt like it's closer to cbd caifan price.
Helmed by an ex-Raffles Hotel chef, Shi Xiang Ge is a hawker stall that sits in the corner of the cafeteria above Bishan Bus Interchange.
Their Mala Pig Intestine La Mian ($5) is the dopest bowl of la mian I’ve had thus far. The spice is enough to leave your lips numb and tingling after a few mouthfuls but that’s when you know that you’re in for the real deal.
🤩 Must to try!
[$6.50, +$1 for pumpkin rice]
The pumpkin rice was tasty and had bits of lettuce which I appreciated! Soup only contained 1 chicken leg - no dates or other ingredients. Enough for me.
The natural sweetness in this! No wonder it's always sold out early
Not even kidding when I say the soups here are insanely good. Newly opened and they're already so popular with the crowd. Tasty, healthy double boiled soups, this was done with lotus Root, black beans, peanuts, dried cuttlefish, and pork ribs. A steal at $4.50.
So warm and nourishing! Boiled with red dates, ginger, pepper, gingko nuts and pork stomach. Only wished I bought a larger serving but at least it's in the neighbourhood #nocarbdiet
