Bengawan Solo (West Mall)

Pretty good imo. Somehow the snowskin makes the lotus paste seem less jelat. Idk why but mum says not up to her standard, maybe I have low standards haha

Looking at Royce's post of this chendol when I'm in Bukit Batok area made me come here with parents to try. It's really rare to find such a Bengawan Solo outlet with desserts so this is quite a must try for me. The chendol is quite unique with a stronger pandan smell even before tasting it. Mum said the coconut taste fresh as well. 👍

I think many people are not aware that some Bengawan Solos actually sell desserts too, and they rock. Generous amounts of big fat chendol and red beans, topped with Gula Melaka and Coconut Milk. Though standards have admittedly dropped over the years, still the best chendol that I keep returning to. #burpple
