Such an interesting yet pretty dish!
Thanks @sgfoodiary for the invite
The classical dessert was served in the form of beverage rather than the typical bowl. Satisfying drink with sweet and chunky mango cubes!
Would be better without the whipped cream, so it is good that you can make it optional (let them know if you prefer it without the whipped cream before ordering)! Perfect for the weather now!
Thanks @artartandaway for the hosted meal.

Another plated local dessert with a contemporary twist. They conscientiously served it in dim sum basket to highlight its Asian feels!

The best thing is that they taste as good as they look too 😉 For more information about the dessert cafe, check out my blog at qiuuing.wordpress.com!
The monthly special at Art Art & Away back in July is the very "Singapore meets Hong Kong" dessert of Bak Hwa & Pork Floss Egglette ($12). With each dome having a bak hwa piece, you are ensured of eating into one from each bite. Topped with ice cream and pork floss, it's a marriage of sweet and savoury.
Our local dessert given a modern spin – coconut ice cream layered with red beans, sweet corn, chendol strips, whipped cream and gula Melaka. Pretty, but I still prefer my hawker centre one lah.
