The porridge quite tasty la though not fantastic but the size of the claypot seemed to have shrunk (due to the promotion?) 🤔
We also ordered La-la White Bee Hoon ($14.90) that had an enticing “Shao Xing Jiu” aroma but the taste was rather salty
😕
A so-so place that we likely will visit once in a blue moon lor

This was called honey sweet and sour pork. But it wasn’t sour to me. Only sweet. So if you enjoy honey marmite-ish sweet pork, this would do fine. I love sweet and sour pork for the pungent sour vinegar tang so felt a little let down.
I was pleasantly surprised to find an egg at the bottom of the hot plate. Parts of the hor fun were charred so there was nice wok hei. Just wished more parts were chargrilled. Beef quite tough. Overall not too bad.
This was a misnomer. I looked and looked, no prawn inside. I guessed it was so minced up that it was unidentifiable. More like minced meat ball.
I was fairly astounded by the size of the serving. It looked so little in the very big plate. Which really gave a bad impression. Maybe they shd use a smaller plate to appear less stingy. Taste-wise, it was ok. Salty enough to go well with rice.
Very intrigued by the cereal in the congee. It made the congee creamier. The clay pot gave the congee a bit of wok hei and kept it warm thru out the meal. Not bad.
