They ran out of pork ribs 30mins before they close, so i swopped out for Pigtail. Small Intestines were perfectly soft and slightly chewy, Pigtail was meaty but not seasoned much, liver was overcooked but no foul smell at all.
Prawns were the highlight, maybe the best ive had at any prawn Noodle hawker stall that isnt the ultra pricey big prawns. Very meaty, fresh, sweet, and inherently savoury.
Soup was pretty strong, its the savoury kind but it's slightly sweet still. Not bad
Worth a try if youre in the area
Love the soup and can taste the pork rib is well marinated. Prawns are fresh, doesnβt stick to shell. π
Soup is very flavourful! Taste was very unique and price is very cheap as well. Ordered dry version but came with chilli sauce, not sambal chilli
Where to find a bowl of good prawn noodle around the PSA port? Just look out for the long queue which will never fail to appear during the lunch hour! Amoy θΎι’ starting from the basic $3 to the added additional ingredients at $5. The $5 bowl consist of prawn, pork ribs, small intestine and pig liver! Quite a generous servings of noodles and ingredients accompanied with the sweet chilli sauce. Their broth is another highlight of the stall. Thick broth filled with essences and fragrance of the prawns from the long hours of cooking. Best combination of good stock + generous servings of prawn noodle!
This prawn mee is INCREDIBLE. The taste of prawns in the soup is rich but not overpowering, the noodles are nice and firm, the meat is chewy and flavourful, and it only costs $4! The best part (at least for lazy people like me) is that the prawns are already shelled!
