Akashi (Orchard Rendezvous Hotel)

Went to Akashi last week and ordered a Gyu Teriyaki ($18) and the beef was soooo soft and tender😍 Overall ratings 10/10 as food was amazing, service was great, and would definitely try other items on the menu the next time i'm there!😇

Simple dishes executed well - a reliable spot. Not mind blowing but you know you can’t go wrong.

Not the most value for money/ cheapest (pricier side for what you get), but for me it’s the comfort that makes me come back.

Turning my dreams to a reality. First saw this on Snapchat and the coldness of the butter really just melts from the heat of the Unagi as you eat this ☺️☺️☺️ also photographed at the back is the Chef Ken (right) who made this for us that day!

The most delightful biscuit filled with sashimi, caviar and butter. The biscuit is crisp enough for it to have a bite but is not too tough either. I call it having a bite size atas biscuit ☺️☺️

Al dente, subtly earthy matcha soba in light yet full-bodied dashi broth with smoked duck and bouquet of spring onion to add depth to an otherwise "plain" soup. Ok, that's all.

The sweetness of the crabmeat is exceptionally pronounced in this zōsui, and the sliced spring onion rings help enhance it further. Days when you feel that no matter what you do Kim Kardashian is still alive, you can drown yourself in this. Ok, that's all.
