Our favourites were definitely the Black Sesame with its pronounced, deep flavour, and the Pineapple Tart which was an authentic interpretation of the ubiquitous CNY snack. 😁 checked it out and was blown away by the fieriness of the Baamee Haeng Tom Yum noodles ($7.50) 🔥🔥 it sure was spicy, even though I'd asked them to tone it down slightly. Though I loved the flavourful kick (especially when enhanced with fried garlic and pork lard), I have to admit that I'm not quite a fan of pig's liver/stomach and after omitting them from my bowl, there was nothing much left other than minced meat. Perhaps I should have opted for the Cha Kang Rao ($7.90) that came with pork ribs. #burpple

Tucked away in lush greenery, and set in a spacious, high-ceilinged space that looks like it was converted from a barn, this place oozes serenity. Imagine sipping a glass of wine with a spread of hearty dishes scattered over a large table, perfect for a gathering of big groups. We thoroughly enjoyed the Parpadelle Pasta that came in a umami lobster bisque, and the Black Angus Brisket Burger, where the meat was deliciously tender with an incredible smokey aroma. These fries were made for me! Char Siew is one of my favourite flavours and I never imagined it to be interpreted as a topping for fries in the form of a char siew ragout, with an added boost from jalapeño salsa. This was shiok! Only downside was that there wasn't quite enough. #burppleXchope
