Risotto de homard ($39) - Lobster tail risotto & baby vegetables

You need to eat this quickly, because when it gets cold, it tends to get clumpy. So we took our pictures hurriedly & excitedly tucked in.

The lobster tail was tender & bouncy, & the risotto was honestly an explosion of thick lobstery goodness in my mouth.

I am used to more subtle seafood flavours; this is very rich, so I donā€™t know if itā€™d be everyoneā€™s cup of tea. Once again, I reiterateā€” come here with friends; youā€™ll get more variety, & youā€™re able to eat smaller portions!

Special thanks to Burpple for the invite & BDV for hosting! šŸ’•

Back here again and a great place to chill with friends on Friday Night, not too noisy and great for conversations. I polished this dish. Chicken was not so dry this time around and I really enjoyed the brown sauce that went well with everything from the chicken to the mash.

Skip the fries which were a little blend. Iā€™ll return for the desserts and fried chicken day!

Tucked away in quiet Sunset Way, this quaint French bistro serves home-style comfort fare. The menu may be small, but the quality of the dishes make up for it. Order the wonderfully moist Roast Chicken ($32, half portion), marinated with a fragrant herb butter and roasted to golden brown perfection, and end your meal with the velvety Dark Chocolate Tart with Cream ($8). Trust us, it's worth saving tummy space for.

Pull pork waffle is my all time favorite. It is more on the sweet side and the scramble eggs perfected this dish.

Thai crab meat dry curry, the curry is typical Thai curry which is not too strong, generous crab meat cooked with eggs that creates this silkiness texture, with some chunks of bell peppers, i had it with omelette rice topped with kaylan steams. Yummy...Sublime.. so glad i tried this one! You should ask them to reduce the saltiness a bit if you donā€™t like things to be too salty like me. Apart from that, if you are a crab meat and curry lover, this is something you have to try!

A dish done right,Ā Dee Tongue Thai by Rung Mamaā€™sĀ Pad See Ew Moo ($6) was a fragrant heap that just screamed comfort food. A homely and honest medley of ingredients held together by the smokiness imparted by the hot wok; it is one of the better stir-fried kway teow I have tried. Such greasy goodness. The slippery flat rice noodles was silky-smooth and seasoned well by the savoury sauce, whilst the beansprouts as well as greens offered some crunch to the plate. There were generous pork slices too, all cooked perfectly.

Yum??? Solid bowl of Thai noodle soup with really good broth thatā€™s the perfect balance of sour and spicy! Generous with thick pork slices, this bowl also comes with fish cakes, fish ball, bean sprouts and fried wanton skin! šŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤ Though the thin white noodles are thinner than what I was expecting, actually quite enjoyed the chewiness and QQ-ness that soaked up the broth very nicely šŸ˜šŸ˜ Top up $3 to make it a lunch set with mango salad and dessert (though Iā€™ve heard the desserts are quite so-so).

A cross between cold soba and ramen (I believe?), this appetizer ($15) delivers a myriad of flavours in an unassuming clear truffle infused broth that the noodles were soaked in. Personally, I'm not a fan of sashimi but I slurped this up at double speed! There was also a generous serving of salmon, crabmeat, ikura and tobiko! Definitely my highlight for the night! Must try!

A Super random choice for lunch thanks to Burpple beyond, never thought I will try Hong Kong kitchen but damn Iā€™m pleasantly surprised!!!! Their noodles are super QQ and definitely high quality flavouršŸ‘āœØ pretty old school and authentic šŸ˜Š good for families and elderly hahaha!

The crab was really sweet and fresh!! Chose thin bee Hoon which soaked up the soup really well. Overall a very flavourful dish, albeit a bit too rich for me.

Place was really packed and crowded during dinner time. Please be prepared to wait at least 30 mins for your food. Ordered the clams pasta, was really good and flavorful. The chili beef fries was good also, fries are not very soggy. The salsa chicken that we ordered (not in photo) was a little over cooked and burnt but however overall still good taste.

The other main we got with the Burpplebeyond deal was the less inspiring crab omelette. While real crab meat fleshed from the crustacean was used; it wasnā€™t the freshest and the omelette was slightly too oily for my liking.
That said I wouldnā€™t skip a beat to revisit Good Time Eat Drink; so I can try the many other promising dishes on the menu.
